Howie Hatter
Dedicated to Crafting Your Perfect Hat
Finley Howie is a milliner, designer and maker whose work combines heritage craft with a contemporary design perspective. Known for his focus on men’s hats, his portfolio also includes bespoke occasion wear and Royal Ascot commissions. With a background in lampshades and carpentry, alongside early millinery training with Lucy Barlow, Finley brings a strong understanding of structure, materiality and finish to his work. In 2025, he was selected for The King’s Foundation and CHANEL Métiers d’Art Millinery Fellowship, in partnership with Le19M, where he continues to refine traditional techniques for a modern audience.
